Exciting new opportunity for pharmacy professionals to access the Wellcome Trust funded PhD programme.
Join one of two drop in sessions hosted by Health Education England in which we will explore this very exciting opportunity, the eligibility criteria, application process and timelines.
The Wellcome Trust funded GW4 CAT PhD Programme is a competitive scheme that supports healthcare professionals to develop their research expertise through completion of a funded PhD, in conjunction with University of Bath, University of Bristol, Cardiff University and University of Exeter. Successful candidates will receive funding for 3 years covering clinical salary, PhD fees, project consumables, some training and travel costs for the duration of the PhD. The closing date for applications is 23:59 GMT, 13/12/2021, with interviews in February 2022 before an anticipated start date between August-October 2022.

- Friday 19 November 11:00 -12:00
- Monday 22 November 12:00-13:00
These webinars are intended for both prospective applicants and also pharmacy leaders who may be interested in supporting employees to participate in this scheme.
