We are excited to announce the launch of the Cleanroom Supervision in Pharmacy Technical Services programme.
The training programme has been designed to meet the increasing need to train and assess cleanroom supervisors to improve skill mix, workflow, career progression and patient safety across Pharmacy Technical Services. The programme is open to a wide range of Pharmacy Technical Services’ personnel, including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy support staff and pharmacists.
The programme is a competency based accreditation, and is designed to complement the knowledge based TSET course, Supervisory Skills for Technical Services facilitated by the University of Leeds.
The programme will provide aspiring Cleanroom Supervisors with the skills and knowledge to confidently and competently undertake cleanroom supervision, ensuring patient safety, product quality and encourage best practice.
The programme will encourage continuing professional development and accountability within Pharmacy Technical Services, promoting further development of effective communication skills, supporting appropriate skill-mix within departments and contribute to reduction of overall error rates.
For further information and to apply for the programme please go to the Cleanroom Supervision in Pharmacy Technical Services page of the PWDS website.
