Pharmacy Support Staff Shares Their Positive Experience Following Completion Of The Final Accuracy Checking Programme

🎉 The PWDS Final Accuracy Checking Programme (FACP) has received positive feedback from a recently accredited learner who has successfully completed the training programme. The feedback has highlighted the training programmes success in fostering confidence and competence in this vital role. Their experiences support the programme’s effectiveness in equipping individuals with the necessary skills for final accuracy checking.

‘Initially, I was anxious about the checking process due to my limited clinical knowledge. However, the intensive pre-coursework, mentorship, and training day provided by PWDS helped me to develop confidence. Engaging with pharmacy assistants pharmacy technicians and recalling prior knowledge boosted my confidence further. Although checking complex requests was challenging, this experience strengthened my skills and set a standard for the responsibilities and standards I aim to uphold in the future.’Pharmacy Support Staff, Dorset County Hospital
